Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026. Online applications started on 17 August 2026 and the last date has been extended to 15 September 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for Paper-I (Secondary Level) and Paper-II (Senior Secondary Level).
| Bihar STET 2026 is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Secondary (Classes 9-10) and Senior Secondary (Classes 11-12) schools in Bihar. The examination will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Qualifying certificate will be valid for lifetime. |

Paper-II (Senior Secondary Teacher – Class 11-12) : Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject with Second Division + B.Ed. (B.Ed. not required for Computer Science). 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang candidates. |
